Anthony Robinson lives in the woods, but is a city boy at heart (or in his mind). His poems contain a lot of observations of the natural world: deer, mountains, trailer parks. His book Failures of the Poets (Canarium Books, 2023) is part historical survey, part self-commentary. He recently published Broke Republic (Green Tower Press, 2025), a long personal poem about very public issues, about civics, about a lost America in present tense. He lives in rural Oregon and his Instagram handle is @shedsofthenorthwest.
