DL Newton is a playwright and poet whose work has been published by the Bard Microcollege Zine, Global Commons, Poetry Project, Peregrine, and others. She earned her first Associate’s degree from Bard in May 2025 at the age of 67. She has been selected for a NYC Poets Afloat poetry micro-residency and is a cohort member of the Echoes Writers Group at Primary Stages. DL is a reproductive and gender freedom activist.
